Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more hazardous to operate a motor vehicle these days. It’s obvious that populations are increasing across the state of Georgia, causing roadways to become more crowded than ever. Higher numbers of vehicles sharing the same roadways will only lead to more motor vehicle wrecks. Statistically speaking, nearly every driver will be involved in a crash at some point during their lives. No person wants to be involved in an accident, but when the at-fault driver flees the scene of a serious crash, the experience can be traumatizing.

The Georgia State Patrol is currently looking for a driver who fled the scene of a fatal wreck near Eton. The crash happened on Highway 411 during the evening hours. According to reports, a sedan was traveling along the roadway when another vehicle rammed the sedan from behind. The vehicle traveled alongside the sedan and hit it again, forcing the sedan off the roadway, reports said.

Investigators said the sedan flipped multiple times upon leaving the roadway, hit a tree and landed in front of a mobile home. According to authorities, both occupants in the sedan were killed. Reportedly, they were a young married couple. The other driver fled the scene. Georgia State Patrol said that troopers are still searching for the driver of the other vehicle involved.

When drivers get behind the wheel, the furthest thing from their mind is being involved in a crash. However, as more and more vehicles take to the road in Georgia, wrecks have become almost inevitable. Those who have suffered injuries or the loss of loved ones in motor vehicle wrecks could benefit by seeking the services of an experienced attorney. A successfully litigated claim could provide compensation to help victims and families recover any financial losses that may have occurred due to this tragic experience.
